At Herons Park Care Home, we’ve been getting into the Halloween spirit with a range of enjoyable activities that brought smiles and cheer to our residents. As the darker nights approach, these spooky activities have been spreading happiness and brightening up our Worcestershire care home.
One of our residents took on the important role of judging the local school scarecrow competition, admiring the colourful characters on display. She enjoyed meeting the local children and their parents who were out enjoying the autumnal fun, and couldn’t resist a visit to a local charity shop.
In celebration of the season, our residents and staff enjoyed an exciting game of skittles and wore spooky Halloween masks. The atmosphere was filled with laughter as everyone got into the Halloween spirit, making it a day to remember. This sense of fun and togetherness is what gives Herons Park a homely feel, helping our residents feel truly at home.
The excitement continued with our pumpkin judging contest, and the home was soon filled with spookily decorated pumpkins designed by our lovely staff and residents. Huge congratulations to the winners, and a big thanks to everyone who made this event a success.
Halloween at Herons Park Care Home in Kidderminster is a celebration of joy, creativity and warm community spirit. We’re looking forward to many more holiday celebrations with our residents.
