We believe in making every occasion special at Herons Park rest home, and Father’s Day gave us a wonderful reason to celebrate togetherness.  Our hardworking staff opened up a special Father’s Day café with a selection of treats, inviting residents and their families to enjoy homemade cake, drinks, and warm conversation.  The room was filled with laughter and joy as residents enjoyed some quality time with their loved ones.

It was heart-warming to see how much joy a slice of cake and a hot cup of tea can bring.  The care home had a lively, joyful atmosphere, reminding us how important these shared moments can be.  Father’s Day is a day to appreciate all that dads do for us, and it was a great opportunity to celebrate the dads in our nursing home as well as the families of our residents.  Herons Park is more than just a care home – it’s a welcoming community where friendships and memories are made.

A big thank you to our wonderful kitchen staff for the home made Victoria sponge they prepared – it was a real highlight of the day!  Their dedication and care brought an extra touch of joy to our Father’s Day celebrations, making the day extra special for both residents and visitors.  It’s thoughtful touches like this that make our care home in Kidderminster a place where every day feels special.
