At Herons Park Nursing Home, Easter is always a special time for our residents, and our Easter weekend was filled with fun and festive cheer.  The weekend was packed with colour, joy, and creativity, from cheerful decorations to crafts, competitions, and of course plenty of sweet treats.

Good Friday brought fun and creativity to our nursing home with our Easter bonnet competition that delighted residents and staff alike.  Residents impressed everyone with their beautifully decorated hats, and the judging panel had a tough task choosing the winners.  After much deliberation, the lovely Lil was awarded first place, followed by Mel in second, Sheila in third, and Pat in fourth.  Janet and Bob were also recognised for their creative designs.  The event brought smiles all around and was a wonderful way to kick off the Easter celebrations.

The Easter spirit was in full swing on Saturday with a cheerful visit from our very own Easter Bunny.  Residents were thrilled to receive their treats, and the joy was shared with visiting family and friends.  It was a wonderful reminder of the caring community here at our care home, making it a heartwarming day for everyone.

Easter Sunday was a warm and relaxing day, with residents enjoying delicious food and, of course, plenty of chocolate eggs.  Herons Park elderly care home in Kidderminster is more than just a care home – we strive to create special moments that bring joy to all our residents.  From events filled with laughter to simply sharing stories over tea, we aim to bring genuine happiness to all at our care home.  We hope everyone enjoyed a lovely Easter – here’s to more celebrations to come!
