The holiday season is upon us, and Herons Park nursing home in Kidderminster has an exciting lineup of events to celebrate the season.  December will be filled with musical performances and community spirit, so we’re sure it will be a month to remember.  Be sure to save the dates and arrive ten minutes early to make the most of the festive fun!

The festivities begin on Thursday December 5th at 2:30pm as the talented Kim performs in the dementia unit.  On Wednesday December 11th, there will be a performance from Tom at 11am to set a festive mood for the residents’ party.  We will also be treated to the delightful voices of Spennells school children on Thursday December 12th at 11am, filling the care home with music and joy.

Wednesday December 18th will be packed with festive highlights.  Join us for a morning of Christmas carols at the church at 11am, followed by a visit to Spennells School at 3:30pm for their charming Christmas stalls.  Discover a wide range of unique gifts and make the most of the holiday atmosphere.  As the big day approaches, catch Matt Clay performing on Monday December 23rd at 2:30pm, treating us all to his musical talents.

Finally, we’ll wrap up 2024 in style with a lively disco on Monday December 30th.  Celebrate with nibbles and Bucks Fizz as well as plenty of dancing as we enjoy an evening of music and fun.  Residents attend for free, while guest tickets are only £2.  This is a festive celebration not to be missed!
