Valentine’s Day was a truly special occasion at Herons Park residential nursing home.  Our two-day Valentine’s celebrations were filled with love, laughter, and delicious treats, bringing warmth to our community.  It was a delight to see everyone enjoying the festivities, sharing moments of friendship and happiness.  Some were even lucky enough to receive beautiful flowers, making the occasion even more special.

The festivities began on Friday 14th February with a lovely coffee morning, where residents gathered to enjoy tasty cupcakes and sweet Valentine’s goodies.  Our cheese and wine gathering was also a fantastic event, offering a selection of cheese, crackers, fresh fruit, and an assortment of drinks.  The event created a relaxed social atmosphere, celebrating love, friendship, and togetherness.

On Saturday, the Valentine’s celebrations carried on upstairs, spreading even more joy in our rest home.  One of our residents took the spotlight with a performance on their harmonica, filling the room with joyful music.  The music brought residents and staff together, celebrating both the occasion and wonderful community we have at Herons Park.

We strive to make every day special for our residents at our care home in Kidderminster, and celebrations like this remind us of the strong sense of community in our home.  From shared laughter over coffee to the joy of live music, these experiences bring us closer together.  We look forward to hosting many more wonderful celebrations, filled with love, joy, and of course, plenty of treats!
