The Herons Park Nursing Home residents had a fantastic day out at RAF Cosford recently and we thought we’d share some picture highlights of the day.

The Royal Air Force Museum in Cosford provides an exciting look into the history of iconic aircraft, cars and tanks. Our residents got to explore hangars displaying aircraft from the First and Second World Wars, as well as exhibits detailing RAF stories and a fascinating exhibition on the National Cold War.

Many of our elderly care residents have a keen interest in history and aviation, so they thoroughly enjoyed their day out exploring the museum and its exhibits.
