Whitlenge Gardens are home to some stunning natural displays, including a 3 acre show garden featuring 500 varieties of beautiful plants. Our nursing home residents enjoyed admiring the scenery, taking in the therapeutic sights and sounds of nature. There’s a special kind of therapy that comes with being outdoors in nature, and it was reflected in the joyful smiles of our residents.
No day trip would be complete without a delicious treat, and our ladies were truly spoilt for choice in the tearoom. From classic egg and chips to warm scones with rich clotted cream and jam, the group was treated to a range of delights alongside a hot cup of tea. Some even went for the full summer experience with a delicious ice cream cone!
We believe that every day is a chance to create memories for our residents, helping them live their lives to the full in the company of like-minded people. Our Friday outing was a combination of good food, friendly faces and the fresh air of the great outdoors, keeping our community at our residential nursing home in Kidderminster lively and filled with joy.
